This is a passage from Baja to Cartagena
with Panama Canal transit.

Shamwari is a fully equipped Tayana 37' offshore cutter. We are looking for one or two additional crew.

Itinerary:

• Depart La Paz Mexico Nov 1, 2007.
• Arrive Cartagena, Columbia: It is between 2500 and 3000nm, I would estimate 2 - 3 months with stopovers and the usual unexpecteds.
• Planned stopovers include Mazatlan, La Cruz, Zihuatanejo, Huatulc, Bahia del Sol and/or Barillas (El Salvador), Puesta del Sol (Nicaruaga), Costa Rico (ports TBD), Balboa, Colon, San Blas Islands, Cartagena.

This is an unpaid position. Personal travel, food and miscellaneous paid by crew.

You should have some sailing experiece. If you can stand watches, work with a team and bring a positive cheery disposition aboard, you will be considered.
